1. Centralized Allotment Procedure
The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the S.S.C (Standard 10 examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks in aggregate for all reserved and open categories with subject General Science/Physics & Chemistry, Mathematics/ algebra & Geometry and English.
Direct Admission to Third Semester (Second Year)
• The candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination having science or vocational stream with minimum 35% marks in aggregate
• The candidates who have passed ITI, ATS and MCVC courses with minimum 35% marks in aggregate
• Above the sanction in- take, 20% seats are reserved for direct admission to third semester or second Year Diploma Courses and the vacant seats of I st year shall be provided for direct admission.
• It may be noted that the candidates have to appear for a few subject of first year as laid down by MSBTE as backlog subject.

- Admission process is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai.
- A student desiring admission has to submit application form to the ARC.
- As per the schedule, the student has to give options for the choice of college and branch.
- DTE then allots the College and Branch according to Merit and preferences given by the student.

- The student has to report to respective college to complete the admission process by payment of necessary fee and original documents. Student has to fulfill all the admission process. Seats available at KDK Polytechnic.
- 80% seats are filled through CAP (Centralized Admission Process) Conducted by DTE. The candidate has to apply at the ARC Centre.
- 20% seats are for Institutional Quota admission. The candidate has to apply top college only.
- The institutional level admission details will be published in the leading newspapers.
- Students desiring admission shall submit an application to the Institute as per the schedule. Eligible students shall get admitted on the basis of their merit.
